Why "the MISSION"?

animated_logo_1.gifAs leaders and most importantly, as disciples, we are called and privileged to imitate Jesus, our Lord.  Perhaps no aspect of the Son of God is more daunting and yet inspiring as his mission to “seek and save the lost.”  At this year’s International Leadership Conference, we will remember, rejoice in, and reignite the MISSION in our hearts and in our churches.  Please join us in Miami, September 23-26, 2010 as brothers and sisters from all over the world come together to rededicate ourselves to the MISSION.

The South Florida Church of Christ, now in its 37th year, is thrilled and honored to host this year’s leadership conference.  One of our most distinguishing characteristics is how many different nations, languages and backgrounds are represented in our membership.  Our diversity and our status as the Gateway to South America both motivate and challenge us to have a heart for and commitment to world missions. Each church in our family of churches has its unique role in spreading the gospel to all nations.  Hence, the leadership of the International churches of Christ can think of no more compelling theme for our conference than the MISSION.

We have prepared information on this site with which you will be able to answer your questions and make your plans to register for the 2010 International Leadership Conference.  We ask you to please register as soon as possible so that we can make this conference as well-planned and welcoming as possible.
We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful and exciting city.

Sponsorships

Traveling to the United States for this conference is financially impossible for a large number of our brothers serving God in countries and congregations less privileged than most here in the United States. We ask you to consider sponsoring one or more of our brothers and sisters to attend this conference.. We understand that we are living in times where many budgets are stretched tight, but we ask you to consider how we can use the much we are blessed with to help those with less. Read More
